The Association of Chinese Internal Auditors is committed to promoting the continuous development of the internal audit industry, providing comprehensive professional and accreditation examinations for those interested in entering this industry, hosting seminars and workshops regularly, allowing more interactions between industry professionals in order for improving professional skills as well.
The blended seminar entitled “Due Diligence of Mergers and Acquisitions and Initial Public Offerings” was successfully held on 22 June, 2021 at CWK CPA Limited. Mr. Xavier Chan, Chairman of CWK Global Group, who has extensive experience as a consultant for Initial Public Offerings projects and listed companies, was invited to be the speaker, and more than 1,000 members registered the seminar.
The seminar was organized around 5 main themes that covered the following topics:
(1) introductions of the stakeholders involved in the merger and acquisition,
(2) three major types of due diligence,
(3) decoding the advantages, requirements and procedures of the public offering,
(4) analyze common pitfalls and precautions that should be avoided in public offerings and
(5) case sharing.
