CWK Global Group was invited to host a seminar again by the Association of Chinese Internal Auditors following a recent seminar on the topic related to initial public offering hosted by Mr. Xavier Chan, Chairman of CWK Global Group, has been hailed a huge success by all who attended.
Mr. Garry Kwan, a Managing Partner of CWK Global Group, who has extensive experience in internal auditing , was invited as the speaker for the blended seminar on “Internal Audit Standards and Risk Management” and the seminar was successfully held at CWK CPA Limited on 9 July 2021, and once again more than 1,000 members registered the seminar.
The seminar was organized around 4 main themes that covered the following topics:
(1) the purpose and standards of internal audit,
(2) risk management and evaluation,
(3) elaboration of the approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of internal control, and
(4) dissecting the responsibilities and duties of the board of directors and senior management.
Mr. Garry Kwan hopes that the attendees could understand more about the professional knowledge and experience related to internal auditing via the seminar and hence promoting academic research on internal auditing among members.
