The Hong Kong Home and Youth Affairs Bureau has appointed Mr. Xavier Chan, Managing Partner of CWK Global, as a member of the District Fire Safety Committee (Southern District) in 2023. As a member of the committee, Mr. Xavier Chan also assumes the role of electoral nomination power, which enables him to participate in and promote Hong Kong’s electoral system.
Mr. Xavier Chan was invited to attend the Southern District Committees constituency candidate meeting on 23 November 2023 where he had the opportunity to meet with the candidates. The 2023 Hong Kong District Council Elections will be held on 10 December 2023 (Sunday). There will be District Committees constituency, and a total of 10 candidates will compete for 8 seats in the Southern District.
Mr. Xavier Chan will do his best to fulfil his responsibilities as a member, actively serve the society, and build a better economic and legal environment.
