The Hong Kong Civil Servants General Union held a grand event called the “Seminar on Civil Servants Supporting the Policy Direction of the SAR Government” to celebrate the union’s 45th anniversary. The event aimed to invite several outstanding political figures to share their experiences and insights, encourage the participants to actively equip themselves in the new era and work together to promote effective political governance. Mr. Xavier Chan, Managing Partner of CWK Global, was also present to support this event.
The seminar invited four outstanding speakers. They are Lawyer Nicholas Chan, MH, JP, Vice Chairman of the Liberal Party and Hong Kong Deputy to the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China; Mr. Gary Chan, SBS, JP, member of the Executive Council, member of the Legislative Council and Chairman of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong; Ms. Ling Youshi, Executive Vice President of the Hong Kong Association for Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China and Hong Kong Deputy to the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China; and Mr. Bunny Chan, GBM, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations, Permanent President of the Kowloon Federation of Associations, and Honorary President of the Hong Kong Civil Servants General Union.
The 45th anniversary celebration of the Hong Kong Civil Servants General Union represents a significant milestone, highlighting the contribution of civil servants to the development of Hong Kong society and their support for the SAR government. It is hoped that this seminar will inspire civil servants to achieve greater achievements in their positions and make positive contributions to the future of Hong Kong.
