Mr. Xavier Chan, the Founder and Managing Partner of CWK Global, presents his expectations towards the next HKSAR Government on “Bastille Post”.

Mr. Xavier Chan believes the next government is facing different challenges. The existing quarantine policies are one of the biggest obstacles that slow down the business between Hong Kong and China. The new government should try their best to minimize the business running costs under the pandemic.

Regarding the housing shortage problem, the existing government did not launch any large scale housing plans in the previous years. Mr. Xavier Chan expects the new government should collaborate with public sectors to look for better solutions. 

Meanwhile, the government can encourage accountants to develop their careers in the Greater Bay Area, in order to demonstrate their full professional potential.
